Share → RDM
In Chrome or any other app, tap Share on a link or page and pick RDM. The download runs in RDM, not in the browser.
Android app
The same many-connection engine, on your phone. Share a link to RDM from any app, let its browser find the videos on a page, and keep downloading with the screen off.
Not on Google Play yet — here's why. No account needed.
On a computer? Open rdm.sherazahmad.com/android on your phone instead. Because RDM comes straight from this site rather than Google Play, Android asks a couple of extra questions the first time. The steps below walk you through them.
Android 8.0 or newer. Phones and tablets.
Tap the button on your phone. An APK is simply the install file for an Android app.
Download the APKWhen it finishes, tap the Download complete notification. Missed it? Open the Files app, go to Downloads and tap the RDM file.
The first time, Android asks whether the app you opened the file from — your browser or Files — may install apps. Tap Settings, switch on Allow from this source, then go back and tap Install.
This only applies to that one app, and you can switch it off again once RDM is installed.
Play Protect may say it doesn't recognise the app. That's because RDM isn't on Google Play yet, so Google has no record of it — it's an "unknown app" notice, not a virus detection. Tap More details, then Install anyway.
Want to be sure the file is ours? Compare its SHA-256 with the one in the FAQ below.
Tap Open, or find RDM in your app drawer. When it asks to send notifications, tap Allow — that's what lets downloads keep running in the background, with a progress notification you can check at a glance.
Chrome on Android doesn't take extensions, so RDM works a little differently here.
In Chrome or any other app, tap Share on a link or page and pick RDM. The download runs in RDM, not in the browser.
Copied a download link somewhere? Open RDM and it offers to grab it — no pasting needed.
Open a page in RDM's built-in browser. A floating counter shows how many videos it found — tap it and pick the one you want.
Streamed video (HLS, .m3u8) is fetched chunk by chunk over several connections and saved as one MP4 you can play anywhere.
Switch apps or lock the screen. Downloads carry on, and a progress notification shows how far along they are.
Finished files go to Download/RDM, so they show up in Gallery and Files like any other download.
FAQ
Any phone or tablet with Android 8.0 (Oreo) or newer. RDM is free during early access — no ads, no account.
Not yet. RDM is new and in early access, and getting an app listed on Google Play takes a while. Until it's there, this site is the official place to get it — which is also why Android shows the extra "unknown apps" and Play Protect prompts during install.
Only download RDM from rdm.sherazahmad.com. Copies from other sites aren't ours.

The app tells you when a new version is out. Download the new APK from this page and install it over the current one — your downloads and settings stay where they are.
No, same as on Windows. RDM doesn't download from YouTube and never bypasses DRM — streams protected by DRM, like most paid streaming services, are left alone.
No account, no analytics, no tracking. Files come straight from the site you're downloading from to your phone — they never pass through our servers. The only thing the app asks our server is whether there's a new version. Details in the privacy policy.
